150 Mercury 4 stroke vibration in gear
I just bought a 2014 Harris Solstice 22' tri-toon with the Mercury 150. It has a 14 pitch Enertia prop, when I put it in gear it has a vibration that you can feel on the deck of the pontoon. If I bring the rpm up it goes away, I thought maybe the idle is too low but it clunks when I put it in gear so I don't think it is. The tach that came with the boat is not very accurate so I can't go by that, if I increase the rpm at idle its real sluggish and hardly will move. Does anyone have a 150 that does the same thing, I thought of getting a 12 pitch but they don't make one with the Enertia.

You need a Flo-Torq IV hub kit for your prop. It will get rid of the vibration.

It should be up to your dealership to get a brand new boat performing correctly. Take your boat back to them.
Your 150 Fourstroke should use a 14 pitch or 15 pitch propeller, and it should be good for 6000 rpm's. The Enertia is the correct propeller for your application, and is available in 1 pitch increments so you can get it right.
You should also have your dealer check out the tachometer for accuracy as it should give you correct info. The tach is there for a reason.

I've got the same boat, same hp, but the Verado. Enertia 14p prop. Mine runs smooth as silk. The tach is just about worthless, especially for dialing in the prop at wide open throttle.

I have the same issue but I believe it has to do with the Enertia prop. I have a 14P on mine also and it never did it until I switched props. I originally had a 15P x 15 Solus prop and it did not vibrate the deck at low rpm. I replaced it with the Enertia and it started to vibrate at low RPM. I think it has to do with the cup and blade design on the Enertia. I like it's performance better. The top speed is down a mile or two but the RPMs are up to about 5800 and the engine seems to pull better and seems to sound better. Doesn't sound like it is laboring. I just try to stay out of that RPM where the vibration is. I can run in a no wake zone at 1000 rpm and there is no vibration. I also have a 22 foot Tritoon.

I put the Flo-Torque IV on which helped considerably, it does have a little vibration but nothing like it had before also it doesn't clunk as much when going in gear. When I start to increase the rpms I get a vibration at about 200 rpms higher then when it is in gear but once I get above that it smooths out. I'm thinking of trying another type of prop and see if it changes the vibration, I wonder if this new prop needs to be balanced?

Stainless prop? most stainless props seem to make noise at idle on 4 strokes for some reason, ESPECIALLY I-4's. What you are hearing it the the prop loading and unloading with each engine "pulse" which makes a rattling sound. At idle/trolling speed there isn't much force against the blades and the heavy weight of a stainless prop takes quite a bit of force to stop/start with the "pulse". If I'm going to be fishing most of the day I toss an aluminum prop on to avoid the rattle
