Optimax Parts

#1 Post by MerkFalc » Wed Jul 09, 2014 3:41 pm

I'm having a heck of a time finding parts. Just hit the hundred hour mark and wanted to replace the spark plugs and water impeller. Can anyone give me the pns? Not having much luck on google. SN is 1B715148. It's a 2009 225. Thanks for any direction y'all can give me. Also, if there is anything else I need to look at that would be great

Try the best Mercury Outboard dealership you'll ever find in Greenville, SC. Don Weed is the most helpful guy on the internet giving advice on how to handle motor problems, etc. And after 38 years experience, he says he still learns something new daily.

Another good source for parts is CandOMarine.com in White Bluff, TN. They have a girl working in parts that's absolutely incredible at her job.

here's another option to look parts up on your own.

click on "parts catalog" and then put in you serial number. May not pull up spark plugs

I tried that and couldn't find the water pump kit anywhere. Pretty confusing way to do it.
