Best sites to search for used pontoons?

Hey all, first post here, hopefully I can buy something and stick around for a while! I have been lurking and educating myself for a few weeks now...

Anyway, we are looking for a used 18 or 20 foot cruising model for under 10k. Hoping for a 4 stroke motor and at least 40hp (will be using it on a pretty smallish lake). Will also need a trailer.

My question is, what sites are best for finding pontoons in that range? So far I have been looking on craigslist, carsoup's boat section, and boat trader. Buying from a dealer would be best, but their used inventories seem limited for what we want, so we are also willing to buy from private sellers.

Any tips on where to look? We live in Big Lake, MN and would be willing to travel a couple hours for the right situations.

I used the same thing and also kept an eye on local dealers as well. Finally did find a good/clean one for under 8k (One owner as well). Friday's seemed to be the trade in day here in Northern Indiana.

I've been searching for a trailer through http://www.statewidelist.com/. It searches Craig's List by state. I've seen alot of nice toons I would like to buy. To bad the wife doesn't agree.

We found our used pontoon on Craigs List. Make sure to check the Craigs List postings for other cities around you. Another place to look (just takes a little more time) is down at the marina of any lakes around you. Many times people that are selling their boats will leave them on a lot by the marina with 4-sale signs on them -- that's how our neighbor came across his pontoon boat (and ultimately the reason I got the itch to buy one as well).

One other online site to use is www.claz.org -- it's a site that pulls listings from many other sources.
