I'm thinking about purchasing one of these for my boat. I want good maps, water depth, temp and speed. I looked at one in person today at West Marine and think I'll be happy with it... I just wanted to see if anyone here has first hand experience with one.

I used an earlier model for about 5 years on my jet ski and really liked it. It did not have the depth function but similar in the charts. With the new toon purchase I'm eyeballing one of those myself.

Ive found one with the transducer for $448 shipped. I think the Garmin has some of the best maps, I just wanted to make sure before I pull the trigger.
If you decide to buy I can give you this guys email, I just ordered some stereo equipment and will order the Garmin once I recover
