I need help deciding were to mount another portable tank.
If you added a spare tank on your boat were did you put it..
The six gallon tank that came with mines is just not large enough to spend a day going on the river above
Half throttle. The 25hp actually drinks gas at wot.
The tank that came with my boat is in compartment on the left side that also has room for storage.
It's a huge pain to refill.
Here are my option I see now.
I have a 12 gallon tank I can put on the floor in front of the hatch were the 6 is now giving me 18
Gallons but I lose some space in back but I can remove an extra seat.
Mount the extra 6 gallon tank I found to give me 12 taking up less space.
Any ideas or pictures of your set up will help
Thanks a ton..

Is there enough room to mount with bungee cords a 6 gallon tank one over each pontoon on the very back end of the toon outside of the rear fence?
Another thought for the long term would be to fab up a pod that hangs in the water under the boats deck to carry a fuel tank there. This is how a lot of the new boats carry their fuel in what amounts to nothing more than a "stoutly" built canoe bolted under the deck. Take a look at the Sun Trackers and dream something up with a local alum welding shop.

You have all kind of room on top, I rather keep it out of the sun, measure your pods and see if you can fit an 12 gallon tank in there

What goes under the green platform on starboard side aft?
Idea: Small platform aft of fence on each toon large enough for portable tanks on each side?
Nother idea: Use the aft compartment on port side and remove top. Install a tank there and cover it.
Use a tank similar to this?

Okay so I gotta ask.... What's with the 7 red reflectors, yards of reflective red & white tape and the red tail lights on the stern of the boat? I've seen 18 wheelers with less reflectors than that.....
