OK, I thought this might be kind of fun.
Who has the oldest pontoon out there? Preferably those with minimal restoration.
Ours will turn 30 in a few months. It is a 1985
Northport by Mirrocraft - 20' Weekender. Still has the original floor and carpet. The original seats are gone as is the original hard top. Still has the original 1985 Evinrude 25 that came on it, and still runs like a top.
Top speed on a calm day with just me on the boat is a whopping 18 mph (by GPS) and falls quickly as you start adding people.
Lets see some pics of the oldies but goodies.

Here is a pic of the inside. I think for her 30th birthday, we just might give her a new vinyl deck.

Very nice!!
I'm afraid if I made mine that nice, I'd feel guilty about not covering it.

I've got a 1985 Starcraft 24' pontoon with one of the first Yamaha 115 hp 2 strokes. I bought it 6 months old for $2500 (repossessed), and the engine was $3500 6 months old. Best money I ever spent for 27 years of great service.
It's been sitting 2 years, and I've got to get busy selling it. Just needs a lower unit for the motor.
These things will last a long time if you keep them out of the weather and dry.

1984 Harris, nothing touched under the deck. Only added a third toon. Motor, 1986 85 HP Force (It's well cared for). Hard top I got rid of long ago. All the wasted space they had in the front, I reclaimed 39 inches of that with two new fences. Playpen area is now 20' long. Original metal, paint and stripes still on it, but may be replaced this year?

Until we bought our current pontoon, see signature, we had a 1969 Twin-Alum 24' pontoon.
We had 2 motors on it; a 1964 Johnson 40hp and an early 80's 50hp Mercury.
The only thing built onto the boat was the steering column. We used either folding or stackable lawn chairs.
We put 2 new decks on it because of rotting plywood.
From 1969 until 2007 the boat was only out of the water for the 2 deck installations and motor swap.
Traded it on our new Party Barge for $300.

1979 Crest 20' wIth it's original 1980 Mariner 40.
Not fast at 18mph (gps)... but then I'm not propped correctly.
Just fine for my little lake.
I do have plans for a make - over but the cottage work comes first.
