Another use for your pontoon

#1 Post by Coldbrew » Sun Sep 14, 2014 3:20 pm

With temps in the 40's and 50's we didn't go on the lake today, but we did get to see a pontoon in action. Maybe this is what's in store for some of our 30 years from now. :-)

I have seen pontoon boats, on trailers used as floats in parades a few times. If they take the time to make a skirt from the deck to near the ground, it dont look too bad.

Fireworks guys love old toons with the shity trailers, they put them in drop them on the ground or in the water and load them, no more showing up with a crew to set up and take down mortar racks, so old pontoon never die and always have a use, can't say that about a planing hull.
