new bimini tops done.

#1 Post by dhsofficer » Sat Nov 15, 2014 5:52 pm

So a few weeks ago I found local lady and had a custom cover made. I then had her make me a front bimini and recover the rear to match.
She finished everything yesterday.
Cover, and both bikinis...$1300.00

Thats a good price.... a few months back I looked into have a custom cover for my 20 footer... got a ballpark figure ( if I'm remembering correctly ) right around 1500 or so.... and that was just for the cover... no bimini work involved...

Very nice. The number on option I will not go without is a double bimini on a pontoon. I bet you will enjoy that a lot! Of course I'm a bald guy living in AZ, so maybe that has something to do with it. :biggrin2

I bought my pontoon from a couple that used it on Lake Havasu. It came with a double bimini and I have yet to use the front bimini. I boat up in Big Bear Lake in CA.
