I am done for the year

#1 Post by killerkernrich » Fri Dec 05, 2014 1:15 pm

I got alot of use out of my pontoon & camper this year.
85 days & nites at the lake, fish count
crappie 188
trout 42
cats 56
bass 4.
When I am not at the Lake I am out in the Calif. desert looking for gold with the camper, the gold is alot harder to find than the fish.
I may end up with $250.00 worth.
I was out there for 93 days & nites.
Had alot of good times
so how has your year been?

Mine wasn't bad, the spring was nice got out a lot logged around 80 hours and then bought a house in July and my lake time dropped off real bad, but i got in a good bit of fishing and had the wife and grand kids out a lot, finished the year with around 95 hours.

I'm envious! I put on maybe 6 hours this year. But we had a lot of stuff going on all year long. Things should be fairly back to normal this coming year. I'm excited, I have a lot of cool stuff planned already. The boats gonna get the jack plate, a new rear storage compartment and some massaging on the pontoons. We have 2 offshore race getaways planned and a nice vacation with all the kids and grandkids in between. Should be much better summer than this past one.

We used 3/4 of a 21 gallon gas tank this year. Finally started the Waverunner on Labor Day.

My lake house was in disarray after April--when I tore out the balcony above my 36' screened porch. I spent the whole summer reframing the balcony and properly sealing the floors for porcelain tile. The railings balcony were replaced, and I rescreened both floors. We haven't even spent a night the whole year--and it's across town.

We'll be back on the water in 2016.
