Dam who is this fat guy driving my boat

#1 Post by HandymanHerb » Sat Dec 13, 2014 12:03 pm

This picture helped me decide it was time to slim down, told my brother we are going to have to shoot this shot again, he said your niece would like it too, I was pushing the limits of those 40 sized jeans, now I'm in 34's again, it's been 25 years since I wore 34's, when I still owned a landscaping company and worked my ass off 12 or more hours a day during the summer.

Great job Herbie! I need go get motivated. A couple years ago I dropped 25# . Now that I am back to a high stress, very little physical labor job gained it back.

All I do now is ride around all day checking on jobs and installers while getting problem phone calls from builders all day. Get home from work and don't feel like doing shit! This time of year is really tough when you leave in the morning it's dark and dark when you get home!

I'm shooting for 180, might take a while because I'm down to losing about a 1/4 pound to a 1/2 a week on 1700 calories a day, depending on how much I walk or work my diet will allow me to eat what I burnt off if I want, so some days I can eat 1900 and still lose weight, all I have to do is enter it in myfitnesspal app and it keeps up with all the calories and the total for the day

Good job Herb. I sold my landscaping company 10 years ago and put on 50lbs, I can't get motivated, bad blood pressure bad cholesterol. I've got to do it.

I haven't taken my blood pressure meds in six months and stay low, I came off a bunch of my meds, I still take one for cholesterol, waiting for the Dr to tell I can quit that too and was able to stop my reflux meds after taking them for 10 years.

So losing weight does a body good, but do it slowly with small changes and don't be in a hurry

Please forgive this post. But I've seen people have great weight loss results with a product line called Plexus. If you're interested check out www.plexusslim.com/lonniejones (He's my father-in-law). Or his facebook at "Lonnie Jones". He'll bend over backwards to get you anything you need.

I'm on their pro-biotic and their cleansing product and I've been more regular. So far works pretty well. I'll be doing the slim product once the holidays are past. (I earned those holiday calories and I'm going to enjoy every last one!! :biggrin2 )

Merry Christmas everyone!!

I'm not trying to peddle a product but have been using this method advertised by Joel Fuhrman for the last two weeks and it seems to work in loosing weight and feeling pretty good. It is all about what to eat and what not. I bought his book to see what he preaching and it makes sense (Eat to Live Cookbook & Eat for Health book). Plus I'm not counting calories and feel hungry.
Just a thought to chime in here and congratulations to the guys who did real good here.
