Aluminum Covers

#1 Post by LadyGT » Sat Mar 28, 2015 4:55 am

We have only had the boat in the driveway 48 hours and he is already talking about a metal cover. Can you give us tips what to look for in selecting one? Are they made the same? Suggestions regarding location or putting it together would be appreciative as well.

In my area the venders advertised them "installed". Best to have them do it.

http://www.americansteelinc.com/index.php is where I got mine. We use it for outside parties, garage sales, smoke turkeys and it was my outside shop for awhile before I got my shed built. Thought about selling it after the shop was done, but we use it all the time. My 18X28 was about 1000 bucks, erected, 8 years ago. Still looks like new.

Mine is made by R&B metal structures out of Jesup, GA. I bought it through http://www.redbarnhomecenter.com - the prices are on the site, delivered and installed. Mines 24x36 with 11' legs, 150 mph wind rated and a gable on one end.
