Grill Mounts

#1 Post by Capt. Dan » Tue Mar 31, 2015 1:29 pm

On our current Bennington i have a rail mount to hold out Magma kettle grill. It works just fine, but our new Avalon has a different wall system so there are no exposed rails. Does anyone have any good recommemdations for alternative mounting systems?

YES, I know I can ask my dealer, but it's more fun to ask you guys!

If you have any fishing seats that are unused, take the seat out, and use that area to mount the grill. Those seat bases with the 1" hold make great mounting points for grills and flag poles.

If you dont' have the fishing seats, I suppose a guy could always make a mount that slid under the front between the logs, and folded up when ready to use somehow. Without actually being there on your boat, I couldn't be of much more help.

Magma makes some real nice grills you can mount on a pole similar to a table pole. Very clean install and everthing can be packed away when not using if desired.

I have a Magma gas grill that weve owned for more than 20 years. It works just as well as it did on day 1. I guess the best sollution will be a pedestal mount, although id prefer something more rail oriented.
