Speaking of driver-less boats. If you see this guy on the lake, go punch him in the throat for me.

The Ulterra motors are pretty slick. I just picked up a Terrova I Pilot Link and thus far its been pretty impressive, although I haven't used it to its full potential yet.

We do some wake surfing behind a nearly identical boat. My buddy, the owner, is a much better surfer than me and he can do that launch from the swim platform and return trick. We kidded him about surfing by himself when we're not around, but I never thought I'd see someone actually try it. That's nuts.

This guy clearly wants his video to go viral. I'll do my part to help him out and put it on my Facepage for my friends to see and share. Maybe someone in law enforcement in NC will see it and recognize the dude or his boat.

Perfect example of more $$$ than brains right there.

Not only does he not care for himself or his boat if SHTF, but what about other boaters out on the water???

What a moron. I wish his boat would catch on fire.

Its like uber for your boat. I'd have it drop us off for dinner, send it out and park it on lake, then come get you. no dock space no problem.

Never thought of that, but having a ship pot full of money floating on the lake by itself worries me.

If I have to sell a kidney i'll get one soon though! The anchor button is my favorite!

I know I know , my friend has a 30 some foot sea pro with auto pilot which is nice going deep sea fishing . Cooking on the grill and eating dinner and all you have to do is keep an eye on the horizon for other boats , the AP would adjust around them if the radar picked them up but he didnt trust it that good .

Good Point
I got stopped years ago on my other boat which had an auto pilot system attached to the steering wheel.
I was only doing 2 mph but officer said someone must be at the helm when motor is running.
Actually didn't realize it was the law. Officer was nice just a warning.
The nice thing about the Minn Kota trolling motor auto pilot is if the remote is in your hand you're at the helm, and can immediately take over.
Last season office past me while I was using the Minn Kota Auto Pilot he saw the remote in my hand smiled and ask if I caught anything.
However if you don't have the remote at hand again it's not legal.
