Need Help to ID Engine Model

I just bought an old Sea Nymph 24 footer with an Evinrude 60 HP three cylinder two stroke motor that I can not find the data plate location so I can find out the exact model number. Anyone have an idea where it should be? Also where is a good place to get repair manuals for the motor?

I am planning to re-deck this boat with a vinyl floor, re-cushion the seats; replace the steering cables, fuel lines, rewire the lights, and add a Bimini top to get it in shape to put in the water.

on your there should be freeze plug (what we call them on auto motors) usually on top of block on port side the serial no. and model no will be stamped into it. then you can go to brp.com and loook your motor up.

as for a good repair manual either a good dealer or try e-bay
