Got her all set up for summer!

#1 Post by Littlehoe » Tue May 19, 2015 11:24 pm

Well the ice finally went off the lake on Friday, Saturday we got a couple sections of dock out and Sunday we got the lift and last section of dock in place. The water was really chilly but its nice to know its done and when ever I get up to the lake the boat is ready to go.

Great!

That looked cold!

That "big bertha" brought back memories........I pulled my kids and family on one for years, lots of good times.

Blasphemy!

Thanks all, and yes it was beverage time after that was done, with a nice big fire to sit by.

We used the bertha to float the lift from the boat launch to my dock, it worked great!

Our seasons are so short we need to get as much use out of them as possible. This is my 4th year with this engine and I haven't even hit 100 hours yet.

I hear you there! Even though we are about to have our fourth weekend on the lake, it's still snowing at our place. We probably got 15 CM (er, 6 inches) this week. Once we put her in the water, we're on her EVERY weekend until September 30th.
