Proper weight placement for good balnce,,,,

So while in the USAF loading C141's cargo planes, the proper placement of loads to achieve a center of gravity with-in specific margins for take-offs and landings was pretty important.
How about on the toon?
If you had a heavy load, say three group 34 batteries to find a home for, where would you look first? The trolling motor they run is mounted on the bow. So I have a corner seat all the way up front they would fit in. Or should I move them further aft to a more centered position on the boat?Is there a general rule of thumb, say 60/40 heavy to the rear or what say you???
BTW, 30 foot Party Hut if that makes a difference.

I do not know a specific ratio per say, but I do know that things are not as pleasant when the nose of the boat is low. The worst rides I've had in my toon was when we had three up front and nobody in the back. The nose of the boat was plowing hard into the chop. Do you even have room for a 3 bank system under your front seats? Do you have room under the helm? Seems like a nice central spot.

They are under the front corner seat now, and the charger is back in the bench seat. Gots my Bazooka bass under the helm where I can "feel" the beat LOL. One of the advantages of 36v systems is I can run a lighter wire from the batterys to the motor,, so I could move the batts back to mid-ship if you guys think that is a better deal. I have not had a boat load of people onboard yet but with me and the wife the front is up underway. I am pretty ass heavy with the 130 merc, fuel tank, starter and two house batterres all the way to the rear. That was part of my logic,,put the three new batt's up front to counter the three in the rear,, it would be a wash weight-wise.
