Pontoon Fever

#1 Post by Major Nine » Mon Apr 20, 2015 2:17 pm

Last year I caught the pontoon virius and purchased a Sylvan 8520 with Yamaha 50. Loved the pontoon lifesystle but missed the speed and ability to tow skiers and wake boarders, tubers. Took the plunge and ordered a Metallic Siver Starcraft SLS3 with tripletoon with PR 25 package, and Yamaha VMAX 250 . I think this will get the job done. Looking forward to picking it up Memorial day wee

Looks very nice.
I like the layout too. The passenger captains chair is nice for the Admiral, while the rear lounge will be good for adults to stay away from the kiddo's in the front seats.

Nice Purchase.

Took delivery of the pontoon this weekend. After the lengthy engine brake in procedure I was able to open it up. The Yamaha VMAX 250 did not disappiont 46mph and that was with 2 passengers, gear, and a full load of fuel 60 gallons probably more like 40-50 gallons after the engine brake in.

That looks nice, and should pull skiers and tubes no problem. Congrats

Now if we could just get some warm weather to truly enjoy it, without raining every other day.

Shssssh! be careful what you wish for! People in Texas have been wishing for rain for a couple of years and well................................

Hope you enjoy the boat and pray the water doesn't dry up!
