I think we are finally going to be able to take the new boat out tomorrow after the rain!
I wanted to leave the boat backed in the driveway (which is sloped) overnight, so I can load everything up after pulling it from the storage facility. Does this put a lot of stress on the tow vehicle to have that kind of weight on an incline all night?

No, But remember to use the parking brake on your vehicle. The extra weight is heavy on the park detent on your transmission. You will notice the next day how hard it is to get it out of park. Or if your driveway is real steep you could block the wheels of your trailer with bricks or something.

Thanks...was kind of my thought too...I'll chock the wheels and should be good to go, and def. set the parking brake.

May be telling Granny how to suck eggs, but remember to set the Park Brake fully, and THEN put it in Park.

Actually,,,,IMHO when I have to leave a heavy load on my truck on a slope I back down on the chock blocks,,, THEN put the parking brake on and then into park. And with really heavy loads or more than one night I will a jack under the hitch to take the weight off the springs,,
