Ok. You guys convinced me.

I just ordered a small Box Anchor and a a Danik hook. I'll give a full write up after the rain stops. I'm guessing around August of 2017 at this point

If I don't anchor the stern sometimes other boats will swing into me-yes sometimes at Nolin jerks anchor that close. I also sometimes anchor in the back of narrow coves. Otherwise I avoid the stern anchor altogether.

We have a natural beach that we go to usually and we just beach the boat. If its windy I will throw the anchor up on shore just to hold it...
