Hope everyone is enjoying their summer and are getting out on the water!! :nana

I have put a large 4 hours onto the new boat. Weather has hampered the fun here. But i try to get out when time allows.

Hope your weather clears so you can use that beautiful toon. I know we'll be out on our boat at least 2 days this holiday weekend.

Happy 4th to you!

We have a 6 month old and had a wet spring/early summer so we haven't been able to get out much.

Enjoy the 4th, and if you get on the water with everyone else, be safe!!

This will be Knot Normal's first trip down the river to Beaumont for the fireworks, as a tritoon anyway! Its something we have been doing for several years now. A good time will be had by all!

Happy Fourth of July to all!

katieclooney. those pic look like there from the chain o lakes. If so looks like the water is very low. Are you going out for the fireworks? if so are you going to nipersink lake or pisstakee lake? I also have a red south bay.
Should be out on the lake.

Hey Greg! Shes is slipped off of Pistakee.
I have heard that the lake levels have dropped but havent gone and seen it for myself.
I want to go out on Pistakee for the fireworks but I am too much of a chicken $hit to take her out with chaos. :scared

Where is your red southbay at?

We've already completed 9 weekends on the water, and probably 80 to 100 hours.

Happy Canada Day (today), and Happy Independence day on Saturday!

Happy 4th to everyone! No tooning for us right now. Lake level is still too high to get to the dock or to get the boat off the lift and on the trailer to take care of some motor issues we encountered last time out. So our only boating will be on the pedal boat this weekend.

If you are going to be on the water, be extra safe out there!

Happy Independence Day!!

I've not been out at all yet this year (and won't for a couple weeks yet). In the process of packing up and moving into a new house. I've not had a weekend off in months it seems!

FINALLY! On Friday we will get out! The lake is still 11 ft high but motoring carefully to a cove and staying. Just to get out is a plus!

Finally a good weather forecast for the Chain, Be careful there will be a lot of crazies out. I haven't decided whether to go to the Illinois or the Rock River. Probably easier to launch at Heritage Harbor, Ottawa with the high water.

I am currently working in Idaho Springs, Colorado, waiting for my wife to get off work. When she gets off at 4:30 we will be on Blue Mesa on our boat 3.5 hours later. We do this every weekend from May 1st to September 30th, and every weekday we can, in between. I wish everybody a safe journey to their chosen holiday weekend destination, and a happy and safe weekend. It was an honor to serve in the United States Air Force, and to do my part to maintain our freedom, in this amazing country which was conceived in Free Thinking, and Born in Battle.
