Amazing cleaner vs 303

#1 Post by ron nh » Fri Aug 28, 2015 4:35 pm

so my bottle of Amazing cracked and all leaked out, I believe you can only purchase on line? So I bought some 303 vinyl cleaner. It worked, but not completely and every stain was a battle compared to the Amazing. I have ordered more but is there anything else more easily available thats as good?

Could you be referring to the amazing cleaner "Awesome"? If so, it's available at the dollar stores and is really cheap at about $1 a bottle. It worked wonderfully on our boat, for cleaning everything from seats to painted panels. It's the best overall cleaner we've ever used. Lots of posters on this forum praise it.

I don't think so. it's Amazing cleaner from Bio-clean. Made for boats and RV's. I think I pay around 20$ for 1/2 gall.

I have used "Awesome" w/ a Mr Clean Magic Eraser...what a great combination. Especially for mildew.

That's the exact combo that my wife uses on our toon's seats. Awesome and Magic Eraser work great together, especially on mildew.

Which "AWESOME" general cleaner are y'all having such good results with? I looked at the Dollar Store and found near an entire shelf filled with products with "AWESOME" in the name. Stared for a long time and picked one but wasn't overly impressed compared to 409 cleaner.

most cleaning products may do a good job in cleaning the vinyl but do nothing to protect and treat the vinyl, that is where 303 Aerospace protectant is the best , after you get the vinyl cleaned if you treat it with the 303 you get the sun screen protection and it also treats the vinyl leaving it soft preventing the cracking , I am a big fan of the product and my seats on previously traded in five year old toons looked like new

Yes but the question here appears to be about the 303 Vinyl Cleaner not the 303 Vinyl Protectant.... Your not likely to find anyone here argue against the merits of 303 Vinyl Protectant.

In fact most here use it as a mixer in their prefered beverage.... :drink

Thank you kindly; I'll look for it again the next time I'm up at the Dollar Store...

Yes, I use the protectant from 303. That's why I was kind of surprised that the cleaner wasn't as effective as the amazing.
