I'm planning to look at a 2001 Sun Tracker Party Barge 22' this week, with 90 HP tracker engine (which as I understand is a Mercury engine, rebranded, and the power head is actually Yamaha).
First, any feedback on this boat is appreciated.
Second, specifically the ad mentions that Sun Tracker used the wrong bolts on the motor pod and that is became partially detached. They state that this has been repaired. Is this common? Anything specific I need to look at in regards to this type of repair?
Getting excited that I may have found 'the one' (and the Admiral loves the name Party Barge) but want to go in armed with some more info.
Thanks,
Todd

I would look real close at that repair! Have a mechanic check it over. if he is happy you should be good to go. I believe the '01 have an aluminum deck which is also a plus! Good luck!
