I on the other hand cant have " Big Enough ". I have a 300 and am trying to get the manufacturer to give me a 400 approved tag.

I think the 150 is a solid choice in his case, the 200 I-4 would definitely add top end speed but wouldn't do much for all around performance as the 0-5000rpm torque curve probably very close. Engine Displacement is your friend on a heavy pontoon. Same reason the new mercury 75/90Hp engines are doing so well on toons, at 2.1L of displacement they are BIGGER than my 2.05L DF140! horse power ONLY gets you top end, TORQUE takes care of EVERYTHING ELSE.

Did some break in time yesterday on Lake Texoma. Really happy with it so far.
