EPA pushing for Higher E-15 blend Gasoline

#1 Post by Reiner » Wed Jun 08, 2016 5:58 pm

Epa is pushing for higher ethanol blend Gasoline E-15 for 2017. I received this letter (attached) from the AWA Organization to warn about. There is legislation pending in Congress "H.R. 5180 Food and Fuel Consumer Protection Actof 2016 to prevent this. Call your member of Congress and ask for co-sponsering this bill.

It's all politics and global economics. The 90/10 gasoline has already driven up the cost of corn world wide.

We were doing just great on 100% gasoline, with no need for any ethanol.

Wish the politicians would just do their jobs and leave us the hell alone!

I'm fortunate 100% gasoline is only $.40 higher per gallon at a drive in market. If I bought marina gasoline on the lake, I'd be paying a $2.00 per gallon premium.

hate to hear this.. don't even like the 90/10. there are only 2 or 3 stations around here that sell 100 % gas... they're out of the way but everytime I need to fill my boat I drive to one of them just to make sure she stays e-free... filled up about a month or so ago and I think it was around 2.70 a gallon for e free 87 octane.
