Windshields

#1 Post by seminolewind » Mon Apr 10, 2017 12:46 pm

Hi, I am a new to me owner of a Hurricane 19 ft 188. The boat has a shallow windshield on the driver side and I'd like to replacement it will a taller one. How do I know something will fit? I just wonder if the screws will match up or I will have to drill more holes. Help!

A picture of your windshield will help. On pontoons and some deck boats they now use the quick releases instead of screwing directly to the console. I have put a link below. Also, I have put a link to great lakes skipper where you can buy OEM parts. If the boat is new enough you may could reach out to the local dealer and see if they had the other windshield as an option and buy that as well.

Boat Outfitters or Marine surplus. I believe both are in Florida. If you have the dimensions you are looking for they may be able to find something that would work with a little finesse.

i have bought parts from both in the past and are easy to work with.
