Looks like either you are a great fisherman or you enticed them into jumping into your boat! VERY NICE! I love a good day of fishing...
If things go well, you might see pictures of some black tip sharks (about 5-6' long) caught from the Fun Machine posted Saturday night. I am taking a group of boy scouts for our annual sharkathon (we fish all night). It is actually pretty cool because about 8 troops from around Houston come down (we also fish for them from the beach) but since the Gulf is supposed to be flat tomrrow we will let 1 member from each team fish from the boat at the same time (so whomever's pole gets the bite and gets the shark onto the deck get's the points. (100 points for a shark, 50 points for a bull red drum, 20 points for a sea trout, and only 5 points for those stupid hard head catfish!) Whichever troop gets the most points gets the honor of taking the "Golden Chum Bucket" home with them (filled with candy not beer guys!)
Like I said, loved your pictures of your fishing trip! Keep them coming!

Hooked into 2 stingrays, one broke my rod, the other snapped my line

We always fill the cooler in the mid Chesapeake this time of year
We do have bull sharks and I've always wanted to catch and release one. Up here they eat cownose rays. Next one I catch is shark bait

To Texaspontoon - Good job taking the scouts out for a day on your toon. Some of those kids may never get that opportunity. Hope you load the boat with fish and make some lifetime memories for those boys.

I'm addicted to fish marinaded in Tabasco, damn good eating.
Bottom pic is a common carp. I was fishing for catfish and that thing almost took the rod out of the boat.

Any of you guys try eating carp? They serve them in restaurants in the Far East.

Tried it many years ago and it tasted like mud. It's popular in Europe though, but they apparently put them in a tub of freshwater for a few days first. Jews make it into gefilte fish
