One truck I wouldn't recommend is any new (2013, I think) Ford, Chevy, Dodge Diesel Truck.

Due to Cafe standards and emissions BS, the automakers were "forced" to incorporate a new urea injection system. Sure it is additional cost (that you will pick up), and additional weight (that you will pay extra to carry)...all to improve emissions on an already fuel efficient vehicle.

The real bad part is that even though the Urea injection system is not necessary for proper operation of the vehicle, the government has required the manufactures to retard the timing of the vehicle (via the computer) once the system senses low urea volume in the tank. (Yes you will have to buy Urea and add it to you truck, and since this is new thing.....you will pay a premium for it....cuz honestly how many places do you think make urea)

So what I am getting at....if you buy urea equipped truck and you run low on urea while you are towing, expect a significant power drop until you can fill up your urea tank.

I am reading that some cars won't even start if the urea tank is empty. I see a hack coming for that.
