When are you getting boat in the water?

#1 Post by Oldboater » Wed Mar 09, 2011 10:09 am

Well, I just called my boat dealer and told him to get boat in the water April 11-15. I want it in time for Easter in Ocean City, MD.

My boat is kept on a lift at my Condo.

When are you getting your boat in the water ?

As soon as the ice goes out. I am sure end of April will be pretty close. Another 4" snow last nite. Getting real sick of winter!!

We dont stop fishing all year long here. We do get some ice, but just break through it.

Hope to have it in the water by mid April - beginning of May, but mother nature seems to have other ideas.

Was in the water about 2 weeks ago, planning to go out this week-end if the honey-do list gets done.

Beggining of may. We really can only boat and swim comfortably from June to September. Short season here. Y boat makes me want to move south.
