and its hard to find a good selection of Meguiars locally, you would think the "car capital of the world" Southern California would have a good selection of stuff like this. My shop when I had it looked like a meguiars shop and everything was ordered on the internet
and t_birder, thanks for the tips
my plan right now is to wash with the sharkhide cleaner to get the crud off,
cut down to the m105 using the previous method I posted,
then as a final step use the sharkhide polish.
lots of work but if it were not for this cold I have now I could be doing it now after work since its not really cold anymore

so why the hell not add to it again. If you can tell from the pic from the last time I polished with a synthetic pad and Flitz I was left with BAD swirls. It looks even duller with Shark Hide over it. I had planned on just using lacquer thinner to take off the Shark Hide and re-polish with a wool pad with my Makita and a more abrasive polish like Mothers or Meguiars over the top of the Flitz. If I should remove the Flitz I still have a lot of Eagle One aluminum wheel etching cleaner. It seemed to work and smell like any thing else I've used for cleaning in the past. If I remember I think the people from Flitz told me to use it. I know I've seen a lot of pics of toons here that looked like chrome. I achieved that look the first time I polished them in '04 but haven't been able to find the same polish since. Any input would be appreciated.
