As long as Ed can still go to canal days or we would miss all those good pictures.Ron Burgundy wrote:badmoonrising wrote:Keep it up Ron and you're gonna have us move down there. Seriously considering a move to Fla. We have relatives in Fort Myers, Naples and Bradenton.
You would love it. Great fishing, boating, and real estate is pretty low right now. Crappy job market though.

I've been here 20 years. Chesapeake City is a great place to live with one of the best school systems in the region and a small population (800), but the liberals are destroying our state. I've been thinking of getting out of here the last few years.
When MD started messing with Canal Days that was another nail in the coffin. I was at the Chesapeake Inn last week and they are no longer having any events during Canal Days due to harassment from the state, so Canal Days "days" are numbered, unfortunately.

Yep, I'm looking on several real estate sites and there are a lot of properties for sale cheap. I'm compiling a list for my relatives down there so they can do drive buys before I fly down to look in person.Ron Burgundy wrote:badmoonrising wrote:Keep it up Ron and you're gonna have us move down there. This is just something I'm kicking around at the moment.
