Lock up those fish finders!

#1 Post by landlockedsailor » Wed Aug 07, 2013 11:21 am

I wondered if we'd really need to buy the locking mechanism for our Lowrance HDS-8.

We did.

It's still there.

Despite the "person" (aka, :censored ) who tried to steal it.

Happily listening to all those with more experience than me! Thanks to everyone on this forum. You're smart, and funny!

I don't know how anybody can keep fish finders, rods and reels, tackle and expensive sound systems on their boats.

They've got the price of alarms down to a reasonable level, however.

I rode past a huge boathouse on my PWC last week with a 45' Sea Ray in it, and I set off an alarm.
