78 degrees yesterday, grabbed the wife and headed to the lake for our first trip on our first toon. After motoring for a few miles, I found a cove and anchored a while we had a soda and some snacks under the bimini top. My wife said we should do this more often

, this is from a woman who really does not care for the water and hated going out on my bass boat. Looks like the toon found a home. Sorry, I was so busy having fun, I forgot to take any pictures.
My top gps speed was 28.7mph at 5500rpm. I have a 23' seabreeze fish model, underskined with 90hp merc, full fuel, gear with two souls on board. Sound about right to those in the know?
I can hardly wait to get out to fish a little now!
BTW- a 55lb thrust trolling motor will not hold a 23' toon in 5-10mph winds, will be upgrading the motor if I plan on bass fishing away from the bank.
