This is mine built in the driveway in a couple of hours with nothing but hand tools from 1.5" (1.9" OD) Alum Pipe and Cast Alum Construction Fittings as sold at many Industrial Suppliers to which I used http://www.mcmaster.com (http://www.mcmaster.com/#4698t81/=y3apk1) I upped the strength by removing the 1/4" pin used to join the swivels and replaced with 5/16" cap screws and pinned the pipe in the fittings with 3/8" cap screws, also used 1/4" thick plate under the decking to sandwich the flange fittings to the deck. It now has a plastic swivel bushing at the rope attachment point to allow the rope to swing side to side and cause no chafe. Used the stink out of it with up to 3 people on the tube and it works great.....

Thank you Sir!

I live very much off the beaten path and there is nothing I dislike more than having to go into town as just the drive takes least 3 hours out of my day... The UPS man dropped it all off at the house for about 200 dollars...

Both of them look very good! I wish my boat was two feet longer and I had that two feet on the stern to put one on.

That's one of the reasons I rolled my own was that many of the topside mounted 4 point bars used up more real estate than I had to spare. I don't recall the width if my overall footprint was even 18 inches... But I understand some boats don't have an open stern at all.

We opted for the Turboswing because I didn't want to lose any of that swim platform area. This boat has about a 2 foot platform that wraps around the engine/transom and the kids are always playing on it or jumping off it.

bivey79,

Looks like you have the same boat we do with the same problem of where to put a tow bar.
Where did you get this! It is perfect. How does it attach?

Thanks in advance.

BTW, we spend some time fishing Lake Guntersville. Do you make it there often?

I had Tracker in Florence, AL install it, but from what I can tell, they mounted extra bracing to the floor bracing and bolted it down. I will snap a few extra pics when I get home if you want?

We were in Guntersville at the bat cave this past weekend. We spend most of our time at Tim's Ford in TN when just going to relax. For fishing, we will be in Guntersville.
