The above posts guides are what you don't want to use on a pontoon boat. They'll dent your toons in some situations, especially on windy days.
My trailer has 10' long horizontal carpeted bunks running inside the outside toons--starting about 4' from the rear of my trailer.
Why do you say that the post guides will dent the toons - I definitely don't want to do that. I did pick up my boat yesterday and it does have a set of the non-floating guides on the back.
You state that yours has a carpeted bunk - do you have a pontoon or a tritoon. I see how the carpeted bunk could work on a pontoon but on a tritoon unless there are bunks on both sides of the support, I can see the center toon contacting the metal frame of the bunk support if you come in at an angle.

4c doesn't make anything for a tritoon do they - only pontoons.

Yes 4c does make a set for a tritoon.

I emailed 4c with some questions - specifically how do they brace the two sides with a tritoon as they show a cross brace on the pontoons
Also how do they ensure that the center toon doesn't contact the metal on the inside.
