For the life of me, I can't find a place to hook a water pressure gauge up. The main most pee hole pees from the front of the motor right above the foot and there are two lesser pee holes down below the engine itself. Neither place looks like I can get to it without tearing the motor all apart. fwiw, it's an 88 or so Evinrude 70hp.

Look below the thermostat in the water manifold for a plug maybe all the way toward the bottom.

THEN what you have to run a return line to the gauge & mount it into the dash....might be a job for a pro??

I am more than mechanically capable of running whatever kind of line needs to be run but I see no t-stat connection on the manifold or a plug to tap in to. But it is looking like I'm going to need a professional, or at least a more experienced set of eyes on the project to point out what I am obviously missing. I'll take some pictures and post up what the dealio is.

Can you take a picture of the motor so we can see it, we may be able to point you to the correct spot if we had pictures.
